I'm Dawid Millennium, a travel videographer and the founder of Holiday Video Camera. I started this site because I was tired of reading camera reviews written in labs — not on the road.

Over the past 8 years, I've travelled to 15+ countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. I've filmed in the crowded markets of Bangkok, the black sand beaches of New Zealand, the narrow alleyways of Kyoto, and the neon streets of Tokyo. Every camera I recommend on this site has been tested on a real holiday — not a controlled studio.

My mission is simple: help travellers choose the right camera for their next trip by sharing honest, real-world experience. No lab charts. No sponsored fluff. Just practical advice from someone who's been there.

I don't chase specs for the sake of it. I chase real-world usability. A camera that's sharp but heavy is useless for travel. One that has 8K but drains battery in an hour is a liability. I test these cameras the way you'd use them — in the sun, in the rain, in crowded markets, and in low-light bars.
